About US:
Avanti Energy Services Limited (Avanti) is a Ugandan national company, which engages in providing services to the upstream oil and gas production industry within Uganda. Avanti was awarded a contract by a major oil and gas service company to source and employ in excess of 100 Ugandan engineers, technicians, operators and laborers to support their oil drilling operations within Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: MSc. In Engineering or related course
- 15+ years in oilfield services at the managerial level
- Experience in wellbore logging while drilling (LWD) operations
- Conversant with the use of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), porosity and density tools etc. during logging operations.
- Well log data analysis and interpretation
- Deep understanding of pipeline and asset integrity management in oil and gas processes.
- Internal corrosion control management
- Enhanced oil recovery knowledge and application
- Oilfield production chemistry knowledge and application
Additional requirements:
- Leadership skills, drive sustainable growth.
- Strong understanding of P&L, Business Acumen.
- Must have good presentation skills, Negotiation skills, and be detail-oriented.
- Possess good work ethics, integrity, and commitment to compliance.
