Makerere University is Uganda’s largest and oldest institution of higher learning, first established as a technical school in 1922, and the oldest currently active university in East Africa. It became an independent national university in 1970.
Job Summary: The School of Law is seeking to recruit 4 Research Assistants who are self- motivated, hardworking and diligent in their work. Successful applicants will be deployed to the different departments to support ongoing research by academic staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants must be registered students on our LLB Programme in second or third year
- Must not be above 28 years
- Must have a CGPA of 3.8 and above
- Should not have any retake
Honorarium: A modest honorarium will be paid on a monthly basis. No other benefits accrue to the successful candidate.
Duration of assignment: Successful Applicants will be appointed for an initial period of six months.
