Key Duties and Responsibilities:

HSE

  • Participate and assist in the development & implementation of Environmental and Energy Management System;
  • Apply company rules regarding safety of wells, prepare and follow up all well derogation/waiver;
  • Ensure data confidentiality regarding wells and production profiles of the Area;
  • Assist Integrity Engineer in following wells integrity.

Pre-Drill Period: Reservoir Wellbore Interface Management

  • In collaboration with drilling & completion teams define and validate the reservoir wellbore interface management to optimize and guarantee:
  • Sand control strategy.
  • Well suspension & Preventive treatment strategy.
  • Wells clean-up / flowback strategy – Design and implementation (Surface tanks / Disposal of fluids, with or w/o ESP.

Drilling & Start-up / Ramp-up Period:

  • ESP Management (Efficiency& MTBF Improvement)
  • In collaboration with drilling / completion, Field Ops and Well Perf teams optimize and guarantee the ESP efficiency and MTBF continuous improvement
  • Responsible for ESP Selection: Pump / motor – Gas handling system – Surface equipment (VSD)

ESP Implementation and Pre-Commissioning: Spin test procedure & implementation

  • ESP Commissioning & Hand-over to Field Ops : Cable, Multi sensors, Wellhead, Christmas tree, DHSV, Well preservation system.
  • Responsible well ramp-up sequence.

Ramp-up Period & Production Plateau:

  • ESP Management (Efficiency& MTBF Improvement)
  • Continuous Trouble shooting, Failure cause analysis – Post Mortem.
  • Responsible for new ESP design
  • Provide recommendation on ESP monitoring, control and surveillance tools required for production optimization.
  • In charge of managing and being the focal point for ESP supplier relationship.

Production Performance:

  • Ensure all wells and networks are properly modelled, calibrated on validated data, and the models are regularly updated.
  • In charge of inflow / outflow optimization studies, downhole issues analysis and well behavior troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for the definition of well-operating guidelines and FCW settings.
  • Accountable for subsurface constraint identification and constrained / unconstrained potential preparation.
  • Shared responsibility with GSR and FO for production forecast preparation.

Well intervention:

  • Identifies and proposes opportunities to increase field production / injection.
  • Responsible for issuing the SOR for all well intervention.
  • Conducts techno-economic studies to screen production optimization opportunities and plans.

Wells Integrity

  • In collaboration with Integrity Engineer, Well Perf and Field Ops Teams implement a well Integrity management
  • Sand & Deposit Management Integrity Monitoring.
  • Wells & Network interventions.

Digital & Data Management

  • Implementation of digital solution (NPDMS/TMORE/DOF or more integrated solutions).
  • Industrial Data Management System.

Management / Methods / Coaching / Interfaces

  • Lead the Area A Well Performance Team.
  • In collaboration of the Well Perf Team Manager, participate during the first phase of the project to set-up a Well Performance roadmap
  • Lead Well Performance Group meeting and actively participate to PPG.
  • Participate and assist in the development & implementation of digital solution and adequate well performance data management system.
  • Junior Coaching and applying Well Performances best practices.
  • Ensure efficient and proactive interface with other Tilenga entities involve in the Production Performance Optimization objectives





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Petroleum Industry MSc (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years of international experience in O&G EP positions with minimum 1 or 2 positions as Well Performance Engineer.
  • A good awareness of other disciplines. Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
