Job Summary:  As a member of the Assurance team, you’ll make a technical contribution to audit engagements and internal projects. You’ll actively establish internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY on existing engagements. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you’ll escalate issues as appropriate. You’ll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

 

The Ideal candidate will work closely with the Tax Manager legal and the Senior Tax/Legal Advisor as an Associate Advisor on Tax/Legal assignments

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a University Degree in law – minimum upper second
  • A Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (A Post graduate tax qualification is an added advantage)
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in practice in the areas of corporate secretarial services and/ or tax litigation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong planning, research, and communication skills;
  • General knowledge of corporate tax compliance
