Job Title: Drilling Method Engineer

It also provides scalable, integrated operations & maintenance resources and services covering the lifecycle of energy assets, as well as tele-operated surveillance and maintenance services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing digital solutions to solve problems in the context of an industrial drilling campaign involving big data: stock management, procurement planning, metrics trackers and dashboards, costs trackers and workflows, etc…
- Implement Company methodologies and process to comply with CR EP FP 431, ensuring harmonization across the drilling and wells entities.
- Work in team to frame and design custom solutions to improve performance and methods regarding planning and operations.
- Drive for continuous improvement of existing solutions, ensuring that the backlog of initiatives/projects is full and moving forward.
- Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior about HSE rules with associated implementation and control within his area of responsibility.
- Ensure operations’ compliance with defined standards, Safety, and protection of the environment and by ensuring the application of the Company’s Guidelines.
- Development of the Drilling & Well Improvement Process (DWIP) of the Tilenga project, to achieve minimum operation duration and costs within the specific context of the project (factory drilling, learning curve factor, remote and sensitive area), without compromising safety and environment. This includes the implementation of the Improvement Wheel phased with the well delivery cycle (Design, Execution, Measure and Postmortem) and the monitoring (KPIs) of the performance.
- In addition to the continuous improvement process, investigate along with the Drilling & Wells team on technological breakthroughs, different engineering concepts, different operating modes to achieve step changes in performance & cost. Such initiatives could involve programming, machine learning, additive manufacturing, etc…
- Audit the Company wells applications (Wellview, Wellmap, DrillX, etc.) to ensure quality data is available for use.
- Lead performance related studies in support to the well construction and completion team.
- Participate in LEAN and performance communities within the affiliate and HQ to provide means to share best practices within the Drilling and Wells team.
- Liaise with other D&W affiliates methods focal points to identify learning opportunities for implementation in TEPUG.
- Contribute to build and share a sustainable performance culture amongst Company and Contractors, critical on the factory drilling environment to achieve lowest operational costs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Master of Science or Master of Engineering
- Professional experience in Digital solutions/Computer Science/Data Management, involving programming and problem solving.
- Experience in an Industry company is a plus.
- Knowledge/Experience with Excel VBA, PowerBi, Access.
