Job Summary:   The Senior Manager Digital Distribution will
be tasked with the formulation and implementation of Digital Distribution
strategies, effective management of the Mobile Money Agent network, Overall
management of Mobile Money Regional Distribution staff, ensuring continuous
performance and achievements of KPI’s in the regions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Formulation and implementation of Mobile Money distribution
    strategies, effective     management
    of the Mobile Money agent network, overall management of Mobile Money
    distribution staff
  • Design and  implement Mobile
    Money/Easy load distribution strategy.
  • Design and develop agent/retailers acquisition and management
  • Support the conversion rate of new gross adds to active Mobile Money
    subs/agents and     Mobile Money
    product activations.
  • Ensure     best-practices
    training and sound coaching to Regional Managers, Area Sales     Representatives, and Distribution
    partners to enhance overall effectiveness     within Mobile Money Services.
  • Achievement of expansion targets through     greater penetration and geographical
  • Develop the MTN experience in Mobile Money channel outlets
  • Manage the MTN Customer Experience     blueprints throughout the trade and
    retail environments
  • Ensure float levels and availability are maintained above set
  • Ensure that Mobile Money agent business  targets and MTN Brand image is protected

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the MTN Uganda Senior Manager Digital
    Distribution job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or
    Business Administration, Marketing or communication.
  • Master’s in Business Administration would be preferred additional
  • Five years’ experience in a Retail / Sales Management function.
  • Extensive knowledge of telecoms business and value chain and sound
    understanding of distribution models and route to market.
  • Ability to create market relevance and opportunities from abstract
    opportunities and conceptual plans.
  • Local market knowledge.
  • Ability to track competitor market activities and strategic
  • Understanding of market research.
  • Knowledge of MTN products and services.
  • Basic financial literacy.
  • Computer skills-MS office & Excel Advanced
