company for fast moving goods.
Job Summary:  The Accountant will primarily be in charge of the
general accounting function including; 
maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and bank reconciliations,
inventory management, journal entries, managing accounts payable/receivable ,
assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting  the accounting department etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
The incumbent will prepare journal entries
·        
Complete general ledger operations
·        
Responsible for monthly closings and preparation of
monthly financial statements
·        
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
·        
Draw up monthly financial reports
·        
Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
·        
The Accountant will also administer accounts
receivable and accounts payable
·        
Prepare tax computations and returns
·        
Account/bank reconciliations
·        
Regularly review and process expense reports
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
·        
The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Commerce (Accounting Option) or equivalent
·        
ACCA, CPA Finalists
·        
At least three to five years’ experience preferably
in Manufacturing or Trading Company Working knowledge of accounting principles
and practices
·        
Working knowledge of local, state and federal laws
regarding accounting, finances and taxation
·        
Computer proficiency in relevant accounting software,
especially Microsoft Excel, Tally
·        
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
·        
Excellent planning and organizational skills
·        
Excellent  written
and  communication skills
·        
Good report writing skills.
·        
Problem analysis and solving skills
·        
Ability to handle day-to-day accounting functions
·        
Skills in maintaining and updating fixed assets
register with assets coding
·        
Ability to thrive under pressure.
·        
Good team player.
·        
Technical accounting skills
·        
Inventory management and controls
