UNCC is a semi
autonomous body established by the Act of Parliament (UNCC Act Cap.
50). It is mandated to preserve, promote and popularize Art and Culture in
Uganda. The Institution has employment vacancies to be filled by innovative,
self driven and competent candidates to be engaged on contract.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accounting Officer for
the Centre - Preparers, coordinates, and
implements UNCC Plans - Provides policy guidance
- Operationalises the
administrative structure of UNCC - Mobilises financial and
technical support for the Centre - Coordinates Procurements at
the Centre - Ensure the Centre’s
operates in an economically viable manner - Promotes partnerships and
inter – organizational collaboration for the Centre
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- An honours Bachelors
degree or its equivalent in the Arts (visual, performing, creative), Arts Management, Cultural
Economics, Social Sciences, or Communication studies. Training in
human resources and financial management is required. A
masters degree in human resources or business management is an
added advantage. - The candidates should have
at least 5 (five) years experience in management of the
arts and culture, three (3) of which should have been served atmanagement level. - Technical and Behavioral
Competencies - Project Planning and Management
- Well developed
leadership, team building, communication and inter personal skills - Ability to foster change in
self and others - Financial and personal integrity
