member-driven association bringing together building and civil engineering
contractors as well as construction-related materials manufacturers and/or
suppliers to promote their mutual interest. KSK Associates is a Professional
Services Firm that provides Financial Consultancy Services including Assurance
and Business Advisory Services, Business Planning, Feasibility studies &
Project Proposal Preparation, Human Resource, Risk Management and Information
System Solutions.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparation
    of Project Proposals for UNABCEC to acquire assistance in building and
    enhancing capacity for the members;
  • Ensuring
    the Programmes/Projects are implemented in line with the Grant Agreement
    with the donors/source of Financing;
  • Liason
    with Projects and Programmes Funders on behaif of UNABCEC;
  • Follow
    up of accountability of Grants following procedures in the Grant
    Agreement;
  • File
    all Project documents in a professional manner;
  • Following
    up on Project Initiatives as may be directed by the Board of Directors of
    UNABCEC;
  • Preparation
    of regular reports ,as may be stipulated by the Board on the Progress of
    the various Projects and Programmes that may be planned;
  • Responsible
    for dissemination of information about the various Programmes and Projects
    of the Organisation;
  • Perform
    any other duties that may be allocated to you from time to time by the
    Executive Director or the Board.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
  • The
    applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
    or relevant discipline;
  • Additional
    professional qualification in Project Management is an added
  • Academic
    excellence in all the above disciplines;
  • A
    minimum of four years’ experience in a similar busy environment;
  • Good
    Proposal writing and project management skills with knowledge of computer project
    management packages and good understanding of Grant Management and
    complying with Grant Conditions;
  • Excellent
    analytical Skills
  • Ability
    to work under minimum supervision;
  • Self-motivated
    with demonstrated ability to generate project reports and meet set
    deadlines with good integrity and confidentiality;
  • Good
    working knowledge of computerized Project Management Software like MS
    Projects, Visio etc is an added advantage;
  • Ability
    to maintain personal professional development and competencies on Project
    Management; and
  • Excellent
    team player with good interpersonal, communication and creative thinking
    skills.
