About AHCP:
The Allied health professional’s council was established by an Act of
Parliament in 1996, cap 268. The Council is a body corporate with a perpetual
succession. It may sue or be sued in its corporate name and subject to this

Job Summary: The
Systems Administrator will manage and design systems capable of
supporting the hardware and soft ware infrastructure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initializing, monitoring and ensuring that
IT systems are fully operational, - Maintaining and performing regular backups
of system information and data, - Maintaining documentation and inventories
relating to IT resources and Service, - Identifying and reporting hardware and
software malfunctions, - Offering user support and troubleshooting,
- Managing and regular updating of AHPC
website, - Ensure accuracy and consistency of
professionals’ data in the AHPC system. - Install, configure, troubleshoot and keep
custody of computer hardware, software, - manuals, license, and tools,
- Analyze data and generate reports,
- Advise management on IT matters,
- Establish and maintain effective LAN;
- Ensure that IT budgets, priorities,
standards and procedures are adhered to, - Perform any other duties as may be
assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills &
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should possess a Bachelors’
degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized institution, - Professional qualification in Networking
(Cisco, CCNA or Cisco CCNP) will be an added advantage, - Comprehensive knowledge of HMIS shall be
of added advantage, - At least two years of relevant working
experience.
