FHI 360 — Uganda is seeking
qualified candidates for the Communication for Healthy Communities (CHC) five
year program designed to support the GOU and partners to design and implement
quality heath communication interventions to contribute to reduction in HIV
Infections, total fertility, maternal & child mortality, malnutrition,
malaria & tuberculosis. CHC aims to achieve this through the use of
innovative approaches, capacity strengthening, increased collaboration among
partners, and rigorous research and knowledge management for health
communication.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The
    driver will provide driving and logistics services to the CHC project and
    ensure proper maintenance of project vehicles with a focus on safety.
  • Performing
    pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection,
  • Maintaining
    a variety of vehicle records, preparing accident and incident reports as
    necessary,
  • Ensuring
    adherence to traffic rules and regulations and providing other services as
    requested by management.
  • Perform
    any other duties as instructed
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • The
    applicant should possess an O’ Level certificate; a current driving
    license and certificate in defensive driving.
  • He/
    She should possess at least three to five years of experience in a similar
    environment.
