Job Title:   Social Worker 

Organisation: The Cookstove Project Uganda

Duty Station:  Mukono, Uganda

About US:

The cookstove project is a non-profitable charitable organization dedicated to improving Health, improving the environment with clean cookstoves.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducting baseline surveys at community level, Training staff on making of improved clean cook stoves
• Tracking household’s data of family beneficiaries in areas of operation
• Working with a dynamic team in implementation of the organizational Goals
• Participate in development of sustainability
• strategies for the project
• Monitoring and evaluation of project activities and impactful progress
• Generation of monthly reports
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Country Director.
• All positions will be reporting to the Country Director

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of Social Work and Social Administration, Development Studies, Arts with Social Sciences, Community Psychology
• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in Community driven and managed projects.
• Knowledge in Project Planning and Management will be an added advantage
• Skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Power point.
