Job Title:       Statistician (2 No Experience Career Jobs)

Reports to: Senior Statistician

Key Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Statistician for performing the following duties:-

• Assisting in collecting, analysing and storing data into useful information;
• Assisting in production of statistical reports;
• Assisting in appraising development projects;
• Assisting in organizing and implementing national surveys;
• Assisting in providing technical support on statistical matters;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics; or Quantitative Economics; or any other related field from a recognized University / Institution.

Competencies:

• Proven ability to adapt to multi-cultural settings;
• Effective organizational and planning skills; time management skills; technical skills;
• Good report writing skills;
• Good negotiation skills;
• Capacity for teamwork;

• Age: 21 years and above
