About US:

Oxylife 2020 Uganda Ltd is a company incorporated and limited by shares. Joint Health Care Investments Ltd (JHC), a business arm of Joint Medical Store (JMS) has established partnership with HEWA TELE (Kenya) a company that addresses the hurdles to producing, delivering, and servicing cheap and reliable oxygen. This partnership (Joint venture), has given birth to OXYLIFE 2020 UGANDA LTD a company aiming at building and operating a state-of-the-art oxygen production plant in Uganda.

 

Job Summary:  The Business Development Executive will provide both technical and business development support towards growth in market share and revenue.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To market the company’s products/brands to achieve the Company’s targets.
  • Generating new business leads. Following up prospects to covert them
  • Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial and production departments.
  • Contract management for the contracts signed with clients
  • To create and implement the Oxylife Marketing strategies.
  • To build and develop relationships with clients by effectively analyzing the market, successful and swift product implementation and thereafter providing comprehensive and consistent support.
  • To carry out market surveys, studying competition and report on them.
  • To make effective sales presentations to prospective clients through individual visits and CMES.
  • To prepare marketing plans and budget for the assigned regions and organize marketing activities in the said regions.
  • To maintain the existing clients and manage their expectations and introduce new products to the said clients.
  • To obtain technical knowledge of a product through training and effectively communicate the same to doctors, nurses and other health practitioners.
  • To preparing daily, weekly and monthly status reports and action plans.
  • To be the primary contact person for all the clients in the region allocated to you.
  • To successfully promote the Company’s interests and increase





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical engineering or health technology – related program.
  • Additional training in marketing
  • At least two years’ experience in a business development role and/or a clinical engineering role.
  • Knowledge about the physiology, quality, safety, and instrumentation pertaining medical gases
  • Ability to design and implement business development strategies
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good marketing skills
  • Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial, public relations, and production departments.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and channels
  • Key stakeholder management
  • Ability to write compelling Grants and Project Proposals
  • Key customer relationship management
  • Good leadership and Team Building skills
  • Knowledge of the medical gases market landscape in Uganda
