Job Title:   Finance Intern (No Experience Job Opportunities)

Job Summary:  We are looking for a highly accountable, flexible individual, who is technically excellent, works hard, can nurture productive working relationships and fits in our culture and core values to join the Finance Team of Glovo Uganda.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the Finance Team in the region and help them taking decisions that will shape the future of our business in the country.
  • Support local Head of Finance, Financial Controller and Chief Accountant in day-to day operations and long-term projects, including financial analysis, invoicing, monitoring of the quality of data and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with other countries & cross-functional teams (operations, marketing).
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A passion to make a positive impact on the life of millions of people through technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to summarize and present complex issues in a simple way.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent MS Excel / Google docs skills.
  • Willingness to learn; good vibes and you’re a team player.
  • Ability to work at least 40h per week (8h/day) during at least 6 months.
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude.
