Human Resource and Administration Manager.

 

About US:

East African Medical
Vitals Limited (EAMVL) is setting up a state-of-the-art medical consumables
manufacturing plant in Namanve Industrial Park, with the aim of supplying the
East African and COMESA markets with affordable and good quality sundries that
include medical gloves and syringes.

 

Job Summary:  The Administrative Officer will be responsible
for the day to day administrative and clerical support of the company like
answering telephone calls, scheduling meetings, preparing reports and filing
documents, managing inventory, maintaining company records, handling budget and
office reporting, invoicing and providing customer care services.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Greeting
and directing visitors, answering phone inquiries and handling complaints in a
courteous, professional manner

·       
Ensuring
office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with
vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times

·       
Occasionally
traveling off-site to deliver reports or files to other departments

·       
Ensuring
the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems

·       
Coordinating
schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring that
everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information

·       
Operating
copy equipment, printers or other equipment necessary • Any other duties as
assigned by the supervisor

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The applicant
must hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business, public administration or
a related field.

·       
Two to
three years of experience in a large manufacturing organisation

·       
Good
organization, time management and scheduling skills

·       
Basic
bookkeeping experience, especially in accounts payable/receivable

·       
Experience
in using office management software, including word processing software and
spreadsheets

·       
Typing
speed of at least 60 words per minute with few errors

·       
Strong
communication skills

·       
Ability
to multitask

·       
Professional
certification in office management is a plus.
