Company Limited is a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and is a Franchise
Bottler and distributor of Coca Cola Products in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the deployment of the CCBA Asset Management Strategy in the
    Plant
  • Be responsible for the overall reliability and uptime of the Plant.
  • Ensure that asset care goals are incorporated into the Packaging
    Engineering team.
  • Ensure compliance to the asset care Program by both the Packaging
    Engineering team and shift-based teams
  • Manage and exercise budgetary controls over the asset care
    requirements of the Plant
  • Ensure Plant optimization and overall improvement of Plant
    performance.
  • Assign, direct, guide and evaluate work of employees, and oversee
    the development and maintenance of Staff competence.
  • Ensure proper systems and controls are in place to manage environment,
    occupational health and safety process.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Packaging Engineer job must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least three years of maintenance experience
  • Deep understanding of Asset Management and OEM Partnering.
  • Deep understanding of Packaging operations, processes and systems
  • Previous Line management experience is an added advantage
  • Must possess good analytical ability and problem solving skills,
  • Must be a strong team player with ability to work under minimum
    supervision
  • Must be able to provide strong leadership and motivation
