Amani Sasa is a
Christian NGO started in 2013 with the goal of 
providing holistic opportunities for refugees to experience God’s
healing and transformation. Over the years, Amani Sasa’s programs have grown
and evolved to a robust and holistic ministry program serving hundreds of
people each year.

Job Summary:  The Counselor will mainly provide direct group
and individual therapy and counseling services to refugees who have been
through various kinds of difficult life circumstances including war, family
violence, abuse, etc.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelors or Master’s degree in
    counselling
  • At least three years of related work experience.
  • Applicants should have a strong Christian faith, be honest,
    hard-working, flexible, and must be able to work with people from very
    diverse backgrounds from multiple nationalities and religions.
  • Applicants that have worked with NGOs that deal with vulnerable
    groups have an added advantage
  • Good Email, Excel and MS Word Computer skills
