Preparedness and Response.
About Program:
Currently, Oxfam is implementing a humanitarian response to address the
humanitarian needs of South Sudanese refugees hosted in West Nile sub-region.
Oxfam’s areas of intervention include WASH, Emergency Food Security and
Vulnerable Livelihoods (EFSVL), Gender and Protection. Oxfam works with local
partners as a strategy for building humanitarian preparedness and response
capacity within the organisations.
Job Summary: The HR Officer
will work in liaison with the HR Manager to coordinate and adequately support the
implementation of HR policies and procedures both in Kampala office and at the
field level. The jobholder will coordinate the recruitment and on boarding of
staff, provide field based HR services across the field locations. The
jobholder shall ensure HR at CO is furnished with all relevant field staff data
and relevant information in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Oxfam Gender
    & Protection Officer job placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a
    relevant field
  • Previous exposure and experience
    preferably with a non-profit organization
