Job Summary:  The World Vision Field Partnership
Coordinator will primarily offer strategic guidance on local level partner
engagements focusing on civil society organizations, district and sub county
local government and the private organizations. In addition, the position is
required to provide high level guidance on aspects of partner capacity
building.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Offer
    technical backstopping and guidance to regional and field staff on several
    partnership issues include sub granting, networking, mapping of partners,
    e.t.c
  • Mentor
    and coach all regional staff with skills and knowledge to facilitate the
    growth and development of strong partnerships within the Region.
  • Ensure
    compliance and effective utilization of the tools, models, guidelines
    developed to facilitate effective relationship enhancement and management
  • Work
    closely with the OD Manager to facilitate staff capacity enhancement to
    improve on the knowledge and skill levels of staff in the areas of
    partnering, networking, collaboration and sub granting.
  • Work
    in liaison with the Partner Capacity Enhancement Coordinator and CDFs at
    ADP level, ensure the organizational and technical capacities of partner
    are enhanced.
  • Organize
    and facilitate forums to enhance the sharing and learning of best
    practices with in WVU and amongst partners through forums like partner
    review meetings
  • Develop
    monthly, quarterly and annual work plans, budgets and reports and share
    them with the Associate Director Partnership & External Engagements
    for review, agreement and approval.
  • Work
    closely with PMs and accountants to ensure sub grant processes are
    effectively implemented
  • Technically
    support the development of knowledge products to strengthening of WVC and
    WVU institutional memory as a basis for learning, documentation,
    monitoring and evaluation of promising practices collaboration and
    partnering.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The
    ideal candidate for the World Vision Field Partnership Coordinator should
    hold a Bachelor Degree in Development studies, social science, NGO
    management or any other related field. Possession of a Post Graduate
    training in capacity building, networking and monitoring & evaluation
    will be an added advantage.
  • A
    minimum of three or more years working experience in an NGO sector
    (Directly facilitating capacity building and partnerships at a field
    level)
  • Exhibit
