About Us:
Our client, a
leading Health Supply Chain Management Organisation that specialises in
Logistics and Supply Chain Management Services for pharmaceutical products and
health commodities is seeking to recruit for the following positions to support
their projects.
Job Summary: The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist offers support by
putting in place monitoring, evaluation, tracking and information control of
the project for effective delivery and timely corrective action.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Improving
    and implementing a functional and robust Monitoring and Evaluation System
    and framework for mid-term and annual evaluation. This will include
    development and adopting of Monitoring and Evaluation and Logistics
    Management Information System tools and process flow.
  • In
    liaison with Managers, develop, improve, implement and track appropriate
    performance indicators of to ensure that the organizational strategies and
    project objectives are properly implemented.
  • Ensure
    capacity building of the Data Management teams at the health facilities in
    Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Manage
    performance and ensure competence of the Monitoring and Evaluation team
    through staff development, constructive feedback, coaching and mentoring.
  • Design
    and update organizational databases for capturing project information on
    project indicators, progress and impact according to the performance
    management plan. ,
  • Manage
    the development and maintenance of an information system and statistical
    analysis of the data collected to support program activities.
  • Ensure
    adequate procedures for back up and security of all project data for both
    online and achieved databases in fine with the performance management
    plan.
  • Provide
    regular quality assurance audits of collected data.
  • Ensure
    documentation of project successes and the best practices for authorship
    into company profile and periodicals.
  • Ensure
    the integrity of data, including data extraction, processing, storage,
    manipulation and analysis.
  • Prepare
    periodic Monitoring and Evaluation reports. This will include production
    of monthly, quarterly and annual donor data reports in line with the
    Organization Monitoring and Evaluation reporting requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The
    applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in: Statistics, Demography or
    Quantitative Economics and Information Systems.
  • Master’s
    degree in; Public Health, Demography, Statistics or related field would be
    an added advantage.
  • Three
    to four years working experience in; Monitoring and Evaluation, Health Management
    Information System and other Information Management System with a
    reputable organization.
  • Experience
    in development of performance monitoring plans.
  • Experience
    in applying Monitoring and Evaluation for sustainability and supporting
    others to use the information.
  • Familiarity
    with supply chain concepts and pharmaceutical logistics indicators.
  • Familiarity
    with research and scientific data collection methods and data management
    and security.
  • Working
    knowledge of data analysis software and other analytical packages.
