About SMP:
 The Uganda Stop Malaria
Project (SMP) is a six-year USAID funded initiative awarded in September 2008.
The project is being implemented by a consortium of partners led by Johns
Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health Centre for Communication
Programs (JHUCCP). The other partners are Malaria Consortium (MC),
Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) and Infectious Diseases
Institute (IDI), Conference Services and Travel Coordination.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain
    files of training and meeting registration forms, related correspondence
    and forward copies to relevant staff.
  • Distribute
    copies of meeting and workshop reports to all participants and maintain
    distribution lists.
  • Maintain
    up-to-date asset inventory register.
  • Maintain
    well-organized files for LLIN records.
  • Monitor
    and alert RC-Mo equipment maintenance due.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The
    applicant should possess a Degree in Business Administration or related
    field from a recognized university
  • One
    year’s experience is required.
  • Strong
    organizational, analytical and planning skills
  • Energetic,
    self-starter who can see what needs to be done and make it happen.
