About
UNCC:
UNCC is a semi
autonomous body established by the Act of Parliament (UNCC Act Cap.
50). It is mandated to preserve, promote and popularize Art and Culture in
Uganda. The Institution has employment vacancies to be filled by innovative,
self driven and competent candidates to be engaged on contract.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Heads and coordinates
    Production Department (Stage, Studio and Education & Research)
  • Ensures quality and
    documentation of Centre’s Productions
  • Gives direction to the
    promotion and development of Arts, and Theatre in the country
  • Theatre business planning

Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • ·        
    The
    candidate should possess an honours Bachelors degree or its
    equivalent in the Arts, Arts Management, or Performing Arts.
  • ·        
    Post
    graduate training in Management, Stage Management, Film
    Production or related field shall be an added advantage.
  • ·        
    Should
    have at least 3 (three) years experience in management of
    the arts.
  • ·        
    Good knowledge
    of Production process for Arts Production, Theatre and Film
  • ·        
    Leadership,
    team building and communication skills
  • ·        
    Good at
    networking
