About ChildFund:
Acholi Child and Family Program is an affiliate of ChildFund
International, an international non-governmental organization working through
affiliate community based organizations in Gulu, Kitgum and Agago districts.
The organization works to create lasting change and impacts in the lives of the
Deprived, Excluded and Vulnerable Children and their families through the three
core intent areas of Healthy and secure infants, Educated and confident
children, Skilled and involved youth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Management and oversight on Federation
    financial resources.
    Charged with the Federation Assets oversight and management.
  • Payroll management.
  • Financial reporting.
  • Ensuring proper accountability.
  • Supervision and mentoring subordinates.
  • Grants management.

Qualifications, Skills &
Experience:
  • The applicant should possess a Bachelor’s
    Degree in Commerce (Accounting/ Finance), Business Administration (Accounting/
    Finance) or any other Finance management related field with a relevant
    experience.
  • Part or full professional qualification in
    ACCA or CPA is an added advantage
  • Certificate in Procurement and Supply
    Chain Management is an added advantage
  • Practical computer literacy skills and
    experience with any accounting software is desirable.
  • Excellent reporting skills with the
    ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication
    skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Highly flexible and able to work beyond
    normal working hours, as need arises. 
Personal Competencies:
  • Excellent team ethics
  • High level of personal integrity, honesty
    and accountability.
    Ability to pay attention to details.
    Able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience in NGO setting.
