Duties & Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Chief of Communication, Information & Technological support, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
·         Ascertain that records are properly filed, neatly archived and maintained at all times;
·         Undertake the maintenance of physical integrity of files; Attend to requests for records;
·         Ensures the accuracy of registers;
·         Assist with scanning procedures;
·         Assist with preparing documents for shipping to Archives and Records Management Section (ARMS), UN HQs;
·         Secure archives at all times and safeguards against unauthorized entry;
·         Prepare records for inspection as and when called upon to do so; Makes copies of archives when tasked to do so;
·         Assist in periodic transfer of scheduled records from offices to RMU;
·         Any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent with additional training in information studies/record keeping or related fields is desirable.

Work Experience
At least three (3) years of progressively responsible level in an international organisation or in any multilateral environment.

Languages
Good command of the English language is required

Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals and ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with supervisors and colleagues.
