Data Analyst Job vacancy at Uganda Indoor Residual Spray (IRS) Project
Position: Data Analyst
Location: Gulu
Reporting to: M&E / GIS Manager (Gulu)
Reporting to: M&E / GIS Manager (Gulu)
Duties & Responsibilities
· Collect and collate data from the field;
· Collect baseline and target data;
· Check and ensure that data is captured accurately on the data cards;
· Supervise the clerks engaged at each District data entry center;
· Manage and maintain the IRS database (check and correct errors in database);
· Monitor progress of spraying using the data (average houses sprayed per day per Spray Operator, average houses sprayed per sachet of insecticide, sub-counties/villages and households sprayed/unsprayed);
· Analyze and interpret data and submit weekly data reports;
· Track of insecticide usage.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a related field;
· At least 2 years of experience in a closely related field;
· Ability to analyze and interpret data, and explain it to others.
