Job Title: Regional Manager
Reports to: Chief Manager Branch Operations
Centenary Bank, the leading Commercial Microfinance Bank in Uganda seeks to recruit suitably qualified, experienced and competent persons in the following fields;
Job Summary: Lead teams to conduct and review departmental and branch audit assignments, train and develop staff in accordance with the annual audit plan and audit manual.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· To set targets for business growth per branch, monitor and evaluate performance and make recommendations in line with the operations business strategy and Bank’s corporate plan.
· Conduct periodic on site branch supervision and generate reports in line with the divisional operating plan.
· To monitor the compliance of established policies procedures in the respective branches, and implement timely incident reporting to determine level of real /potential operational risks.
· Plan, co-ordinate and monitor branch logistical support/needs in line with the budget and operating plan.
· Regularly follow up and monitor transactions and all outstanding items on the general ledger accounts and Audit issues in line with banks operations manual.
· To manage performance and development of staff in line with HR policies.
· Coordinate implementation of the regional marketing strategies for bank products in line with set targets, business plan and bank policies.
· Monitor and implement customer service in branches in line with the banks customer service standards and strategy.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· An honours degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.
· Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the post such as ACIB, ACCA, CPA or other relevant diploma or banking related certification.
· At least 5 years hands – on experience and skills in bank operations the bank as branch Manager/ regional supervisor or similar role in a commercial bank ,
· Resourcefulness and high professional integrity, with demonstrable organisational and planning skills.
· Excellent people skills; good report writing and communication skills.
· Readiness to travel within Uganda and willingness to take up assignments in any part of the country.
