Summary: The Administrative
Assistant will be charged with supporting the running of courses, functions,
research training activities and the fellowship programme run by MUM and its
affiliated programmes, and to provide administrative assistance to the
UVRI-based senior staff of the MUII programme. The successful applicant will
need to be computer literate, friendly, hardworking and have proven skills in
administration.

- MUII
and its affiliated programs support research training courses, functions
such as symposia, workshops, seminars and open days, and research
fellowship programmes. - The
administrative assistant will work long- side an experienced colleague to
carry-out administrative tasks associated with these activities, including
planning and coordination of meetings, minute-taking, organization of
functions, and support for the undergraduate internship programme. - In
addition, the post holder will have an active role in maintaining the
Programme website, engaging in social networking to communicate programme
activities and to keep in touch with interns and alumni of the programme,
and helping to maintain and run the on-site e-Library and video-conference
services.
Skills & Experience:
- A
bachelor’s degree and qualification in administration. - Working
Experience and post graduate training in e-library management and IT
related work will be an added advantage. - Good
communication skills, Interpersonal Skills and ability to work well in a
team.
