About New Vision:
The Vision Group incorporated
as the New Vision Printing & Publishing Company Limited (NVPPCL), started
business in March 1986. It is a multimedia business housing newspaper,
magazines, internet publishing, television, radio broadcasting, commercial
printing, advertising and distribution services. NVPPCL is listed on the Uganda
Stock Exchange, with an expected turnover of over UGX 60 billion (FY
2010/2011).
Job Summary: The Sales
Person will primarily be responsible for conceptualizing, developing and
selling Print and Electronic Media.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • All
    candidates should hold a good bachelor’s degree from a recognized
    university with good appreciation of numbers.
  • Possess
    excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • All
    applicants should have a keen eye on market dynamics and good
    understanding of the advertising industry.
  • Possess
    the ability to transform an idea into a business opportunity
  • Ability
    to work under targets set by the respective sections
  • High
    personal initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Possess
    excellent communication and ‘people skills’
NB: Remuneration will be Commission based.
