Job Summary: The
Examinations Officer (Test Development) will oversee the test item development
processes.
Examinations Officer (Test Development) will oversee the test item development
processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrange
for test item writers’ workshops to generate test items; - Compile
test items into sets for purposes of moderation. - The
job holder will moderate and pre-test items; - Compile
test items with draft test sets and bank them; - Develop
systems of test item banking; - The
incumbent will also translate draft test items into final papers; - Maintain
draft solutions to each selected items as marking schemes; - Develop
grading systems and attend Awards meetings; - Actively
participate in the preparation of annual budgets and work plans in
accordance with UNMEB Strategic Plan; - Perform
such other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicants should hold an Honors’ Degree in Nursing or Midwifery or
Education. - Professional
in Nursing or Midwifery or any related field. - A
minimum of two years’ experience in setting, moderating and marking
written and practical examinations at institutional level.
Core Competencies: Strategic thinking, confidentiality, team
work, concern for quality and standards, time management and integrity.
