About US:
Mildmay Uganda is a Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS
medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems
to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda.
Mildmay Uganda is also an accredited Institution of Higher Learning offering
academic and short courses in health care.
Job Summary: The Stores Officer – General Supplies will support
the Supply Chain Manager in efficiently managing Mildmay Uganda’s General
stores to support achievement of the organization’s objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate for the Stores Officer
    Job should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Stores Management, Procurement and
    Supplies/Logistics Management, or Business-related degree with post
    Graduate Diploma or a professional course in stores Management, Procurement
    and Supplies/logistics.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in
    Stores Management with knowledge in inventory/ Logistics and Supply chain
    management.
  • Working knowledge of Navision or
    Quickbooks accounting package
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    skills
  • Computer literacy i.e. Proficiency in
    various Microsoft Office packages a
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
    and local language are crucial.
  • Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding
    the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • The incumbent must be highly flexible,
    reliable, and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay Uganda.
  • Evidence of a non-judgmental approach
    regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical
