About US:
Mandated by the
Uganda Cancer Institute Act of 2016, the UCI is an autonomous body, with the
mandate to, among others, undertake and coordinate the management of cancer and
cancer-related diseases in Uganda. It is critical to the evolution of a
National Centre of Excellence, providing specialized treatment and care for all
types of cancer using all the available subspecialty expertise possible, as
well as engineering oncology-centered research and training.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive patients and analyze their x-ray requests
- Prepare x-ray equipment according to requests
- To liaise with ward management in the preparation of patients for
x-rays ‘ - Take x-ray pictures, process x-ray films and prepare reports for the
Doctor/clinical officer - Maintain x-ray equipment
- Compiling and submitting periodic reports
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) Radiographer job
must be a Ugandan holding a Diploma in medical radiology or its equivalent
from a recognized institution. - Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council
