Job Summary: The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for aligning Business objectives with employees and management in the designated Business units. The position serves as a consultant on Human Resource-related issues with special focus on Performance management and Learning & development.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively contributes to the Business strategy by helping Business leaders to identify. prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes that are aligned to the strategic needs.
  • Leads and implements an integrated HR approach for organizational effectiveness that includes workforce planning, talent management, compensation, employee relations, succession planning, culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the designated departments to deliver services that address issues pertinent to HR and Business unit alignment, organizational effectiveness, and leadership capabilities.
  • Support Line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function or Business strategy.
  • Carry out resource Gap Analysis in liaison with Line managers and participate in the recruitment process to fill all critical positions in a timely manner to ensure Business continuity at all times.
  • Coordinate the Performance Management process in order to instil a performance culture in all staff and Line managers.
  • Take lead in the identification and analysis of talent development and career support needs.
  • Utilize HR analytics to assess key HR metrics and share data-driven insights with the HRM and Business management.
  • Conduct regular Job Analysis within the departments, to ensure alignment of job roles to clear accountabilities and optimal structures in order to enhance staff productivity.
  • Provide advisory services to Staff and Line managers on employment legislation issues in consultation with the HRM and Legal Department, spearhead and manage employee relations within the departments and ensure compliance by all parties.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a University Degree in Human Resource Management. Social Sciences. Organizational Psychology or any other related field from an accredited institution.
  • Professional: Professional Qualification and or Post Graduate Degree/Master’s Degree in relevant field e.g. Human Resource. Organizational Development. Organizational Psychology. Business Administration.
  • Experience: 7-10 years working experience in Human Resource Business Partnering with Exposure to Performance management, Recruitment and Learning & Development Management in a competitive business environment.
