Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and promote all applicable safety, environmental, security, compliance, quality standards and procedures established by Company, local policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Support the implementation of the Company’s HSE rules at UPIK, and sensitize all instructors to the Company’s’ HSE standards.
  • Participate, Coordinate and Supervise the implementation of the training program and its adaptation to prepare programs in 4 disciplines: Operation and Maintenance Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical.
  • Act as focal point with TLS/Oleum for technical discussions, course content development and equipment design.
  • Confer with managers, technical staff, and end users to determine training needs.
  • Organize and lead chair meetings with FOPS in order to continuously align the Training program to their needs.
  • Ensure that the competencies & sub-competencies list and content are defined and feedback is given.
  • Plan and coordinate internal meetings regarding curriculum and accreditation matter with Managers and instructors in order to meet the Company Operation needs.
  • Liaise and coordinate with all worksite personnel involved in the training program.
  • Organize and chair standardization meetings with assessors to verify and ensure consistent assessment decisions are made and best practices are implemented.
  • Verify the production of all documents, evidence, and proofs to be provided to accreditation bodies.
  • Ensure the registration of all the TILENGA academy students in the selected International Qualification system.
  • Contribute to the development of a mentoring program in collaboration with the Operations and Maintenance teams for the future OJT part of the program.
  • Development and implementation of Transition plans for integrating Trainees into Operations Team.
  • Development and implementation of apprenticeship program into operations phase.
  • Verify the quality and effectiveness of assessments and trainer training support.
  • Identification of plans, budgetary requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Provide the management and personnel with the necessary tools and resources to prepare and organize training scenarios and training actions.
  • Participate in the design, fulfilling and follow up of the LMS.
  • Participate in, or ensure training program execution coordination, prepare internal and external reports. Participate to the annual reporting of the training program and achievements.
  • Organize and ensure proper application and execution of training schedule, including trainings that might be performed overseas.
  • Organize follow up audits during the full training program including OJO and OJT possibly in coordination with MOEC contractor.
  • Ensure correct assignment of competent instructors to conduct training.
  • Evaluate training packages, including outline, text, and handouts written by instructors.
  • Participate to the selection of external training programs, e-learnings and monitor their performance.
  • Provide Guidance where appropriate to in country institutions on Technical content of their programs





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Graduate in higher education (Msc)
  • The holder must have a sound experience of minimum 12 years in Field Operations with previous involvement in training and coaching aspects.
  • Strong knowledge of the Field Operations professional disciplines (Operation and Maintenance).
  • Prior experience in writing, reviewing, implementing of writing procedures. Knowledge of coordination of resources, curriculum development, exam writing and assessment of technical competency.
  • Familiarity with reviewing and understanding drawings of equipment and processes. Transverse management, analytical mind and ability to see the overall picture, strong organizational and problem-solving mindset skills are required.
