Job Summary: The Production Trainee (Horticulture will assist in harvest and cultivation activities.
Do you have knowledge in horticulture? Are you fresh out of university? Do you have knowledge in crop protection and planting processes of perishables? Can you lead a team? Are you a quick learner, result oriented, cooperative, and willing to gain experience and learn on the job with problem analysis competencies? Do you have hands on mentality? Do you recognize yourself in our core values? We are looking for you!
Working hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm from Monday to Saturday
Duration of training: 5 months
Location: Ntinda, Mairye Village, Off Gayaza Road Kiwenda Zirobwe Road
Accommodation: Available at the Farm
You will receive on the job training in a wide range of harvesting and cultivation processes and procedures, Greenhouse Climate Management and other systems, Harvest set procedures, Plant correction among others.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture.
- No experience is required, fresh graduate who just completed University.
- Passionate and committed to developing a career in horticulture.
