Job Summary:   The Internal Auditor will monitor financial risk across the network and ensure adherence to the safety and compliance program.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors the Safety compliance in the Network
• Reviews the Financial situation of dealers and monthly station controls on the Network
• Monitors the process related to account balances.
• Reviews handover of station management and stocks between old and new RTEs/Dealers whenever change occurs
• Regular visits and spot audits & controls on the network
• Attends Retail business review and Credit Board meetings
• Implement the MS Branch Internal Control and Compliance Framework across the network
• Make recommendations regarding control gaps to ensure that the risks are mitigated
• Follow up to ensure that the agreed audit actions are implemented and regularly updated
• Perform audit reviews on the identified Compliance themes and, report on gaps identified and enforce implementation of recommendations in line with Company rules on Compliance
• Continuously create awareness to RTES of key control aspects in internal control principles.
• Share and ensure homogenization of best work practices across the network
• Support the Internal Audit Manager in preparation and coordination of the Audit Committee meeting

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a University degree in accounting, statistics, or any business-related degree with 4 years’ work experience
• Postgraduate and/or accounting/auditing qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIA) are an added advantage
• Three years of working experience as an internal or external auditor preferred.
• Analytical skills, curious, able to work under pressure and take up impromptu tasks.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
