Job Title:  Industrial Nurse (Fresher Jobs)

Job Summary:   Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda Limited is a subsidiary of CCBA.  we are currently seeking to recruit an Industrial Nursebased at the Mbarara plant. As an Industrial Nurse, you will report directly to the EOSH Coordinator.

The primary role of an Industrial Nurse is to coordinate all internal as well as external medical programs within the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Give out first aid to employees
• Refer employees who need medical attention beyond first aid
• Advise Employees based on medical concerns.
• Monitor and do follow-ups on employees with chronic conditions
• Pre-entry and exit medical checks
• Lead – Oxide checkup for services Technicians and Drug substance checkup for heavy commercial drivers
• Any other medical test as required by KORE and legal
• Take part in carrying out and reviewing Health risk assessment
• Ensure good housekeeping of the first aid facilities and proper handling of medical waste
• Compile daily and share medical reports from internal and external Medical checks
• Ensure Employee Individual medical results are filed and safely kept
• Interpret employee medical results and advise the business
• Carryout basic first aid training and awareness to employees
• Attend health and safety meeting

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Diploma in Nursing, Comprehensive Nursing, Enrolled Comprehensive
• Added advantage: Certificate of enrolment as a nurse in The Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
• At least two years relevant experience in FMCGs as an Industrial nurse.
