It also provides a raft of other services to expand the offering, including fleet management, geolocation, telematics and more.

 

Job Summary:  The Finance and Administration Officer will effectively coordinate all areas of financial management and administration at the branch.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Petty Cash: Issue out petty cash, receive accountabilities, post expenses to the General Ledger and prepare expense vouchers for reimbursement.
  • Cash handling: Receive payment from customers (cash & cheque), verify and receipt onto SAP system and further reconcile all collections for the day.
  • Invoicing: Receive job cards from the Workshop section, confirm that both quotation & invoice values match, bill jobs and issue invoices to the customers.
  • Sublet handling: Create purchase orders and complete sublet processes. At the end of the month collect all supplier invoices with statements, verify, post and send to head-office for payment.
  • Control Stock & Consumables: Verify balances of materials in SAP, receive and verify stocks and confirm that the right quantities are entered in SAP. Carry out monthly stock counts and prepare a report accordingly.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for all applicable branch processes.
  • Office administration: Undertake all administrative duties, as assigned by the Branch Manager, including, ensuring availability of required stationery, pantry items and assorted supplies and supervision of the office assistant.
  • Follow up on any other finance and administrative related issues as directed by Head office and Branch Manager for example Audits and Safety (Anzen).
  • Acts as a Secretary for the branch.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related discipline or Professional accreditation in Finance/Accounting qualification
