Job Summary: You will analyse financial statements for our clients as part of our assurance teams providing high quality audit and other assurance services. You will help our clients respond better to financial reporting and auditing issues within their businesses, among other tasks. As a senior, you will manage and supervise teams. At EY, we focus on development and education, so you will continuously educate and develop yourself will the support of the firm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying potential audit issues or unusual trends in financial statements with detailed analytical trend analysis
- Demonstrating your professionalism while working in clients’ environments and providing exceptional service
- Operating effectively in a regulated environment, with a focus on protecting the capital markets and the investing public
- Having a genuine passion for protecting the financial markets via audit procedures, and the resilience to prioritize and adapt in a demanding, fast-moving, constantly changing environment

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a University degree of at least 2nd upper class
- CPA/ACA/CA/ACCA or an equivalent international qualification.
- A minimum of four years of audit experience with at least 1 year at audit senior level
- Experience leading, planning, execution and reporting on audits
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
- Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
- Thorough knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and IFRS experience
- Understanding of risk and quality and risk management procedures
- Proficiency with financial research tools
- Excellent communication and presentation capability
- High level of comfort with spreadsheets, MS word and Power point
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
