About US:

In 1979, our first product was baked giving birth to Ntake bakery. Since then we have grown into a multi sector business comprising of a bakery, wheat mill and paper recycling plant. With household names like Kaswa baking flour, AAA tissue and our bread which has come to be simply known as Ntake, we have endeared ourselves to the hearts of many Ugandans.

Job Summary: The Assistant Internal Auditor will be responsible for reviewing the financial records of the company to ensure that they’re following all applicable laws and regulations mainly in the area of accounting.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the Managing Director.
  • Running Company errands
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for the MD.
  • Arranges travel and accommodations.
  • Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of executives, taking notes and recording minutes.
  • Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of MD, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
  • Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor degree in secretarial studies, Business Administration or closely related relevant field is preferred
  • Preferably a male

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
  • Able to type minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
