We work with a wide range of clients, including national and local governments, bilateral and multilateral donors, private corporations, and philanthropies.

 

Job Summary:  This is a full-time, professional position that will contribute to the development and management of training courses for Ugandan businesses to learn about and gain the requisite skills to participate in the supply of goods and services in the oil and gas market in Uganda.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of course materials and educational products.
  • Under the supervision and direction of manager coordinate external course content development specialists.
  • Coordinate partner courses to be held at facility
  • Maintain the IEC’s Facebook, Twitter, and Website
  • Develop and publish content for social media pages and maintain media log
  • Provide ad hoc advisory and hands on support to patrons on supplier registration
  • Additional duties as deemed necessary.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • At least two years of professional work experience equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible, and team-focused work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

 

Desired:

  • Advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience coordinating training programs
  • Experience developing social media content in a professional setting
  • Eagerness to work in a start-up environment
  • Experience with project management practices and software
  • Familiarity with the oil, gas, and mining industries
