BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd promotes financial inclusion by extending financial services to unserved and underserved populations. especially women and youth as well as people living in poverty in rural areas. The Bank is operationally and financially self-sustaining with over 231,000 active customers and a loan book in excess of Ushs.175 billion.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support execute strategies for digital financial services.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of a robust on-boarding process for digital channels (agents’ selection, agents’ business pitch, document validation, branding, training and provision of business device) in compliance with set out regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor and take action to improve DFS banking operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Be part of and Support the project team to develop digital channels for the Bank to deliver digital financial services at scale. This will involve partnership development, business cases and project road mapping
  • Monitoring and evaluation, and assessing, managing and resolving risks and issues related to DFS projects.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology/Engineering or any other business-related course.
  • Knowledge of related regulations, as well as the ability and confidence to engage across various internal and external stakeholders. A strategic thinker with project management experience, strong oral and written communication and presentation skills and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Attention to details, strong field orientation with proven interpersonal skills
  • Decision making problem solving and people management skills. In depth understanding of key drivers ‘digital transformation. Experience in project management especially for digital services Familiarity and experience with financial institutions
