In 1994 the dealership gained distributor status and was renamed and registered as Nis Uganda Limited. In 2001 the distributorship was renamed Motorcare Uganda Limited as part of Kjaer Group corporate synergy programme. Today, Motorcare Uganda is the official distributor of Nissan vehicles and since 1st May 2006, Motorcare proudly took sole distributorship for BMW Uganda.

 

Job Summary:  The Parts Administrator – Quick Service is responsible for parts administration, processes, accountability & procedures in a timely and accurate manner at the express store.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Parts Administrator – Quick Service include:

  • Prepare service packs for vehicles pre-booked into workshop
  • Return any surplus parts correctly in a timely manner ensuring that the stock is controlled.
  • Fully accountable for express store parts & lubricants.
  • Ordering of parts & lubricants from the main warehouse in line with the parts processes.
  • Making and issuing of both service & repairs quotations.
  • Measure fill rates and capture lost sales
  • Making quotations for express service customers.
  • Issuing quick service parts/lubricants swiftly & promptly against Job cards as per the parts processes.
  • Preparing the weekly express stock report & reconciliation within the set timeline.
  • Report any stock variances to the inventory auditor & ensure closure of the same.
  • Weekly counting & reconciliation of express store parts & lubricants.
  • Keep track of service ensuring that there are no shortages of service parts.
  • Adhere to the parts processes & HSEQ policies.
  • Ensure One Part One Location at the Express Store.
  • Participating in Nissan sponsored training and programs
  • Perform all duties in line with the HSEQ guidelines
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Service /Workshop Manager

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Degree in Business Studies or its equivalent.
  • Basic Automotive product knowledge
  • Honest and Prudent
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Basic business math skills
