Job Title:    Project Officer –
Strengthening the resilience of Communities in Livelihoods, Health and
Education in Eastern Uganda amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic (STRETCH-EU)

Job Summary:    The Project Officer will mainly plan
,Implement, account for and Report on STRETCH-EU project activities for
identification of community poverty issues, plan, and manage development
interventions while working  project
associates, AAU partners and other development actors in accordance with
the  EC Rules and Regulations and project
proposals and signed donor contracts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Plan,
implement, and monitor STRECH-EU project activities, prepare and submit
periodic reports that address COVID-19 risk communication, unemployment and
identified poverty issues in line with EU Action and donor guidelines.

·       
Support
the institutional and project capacity building initiatives of associates and
project participants to implement Project activities in line with the EU and
AAU principles, values, and guidelines.

·       
Plan,
Implement, evaluate and report on project activities within the project area in
accordance to the EU guidelines and AAU policies.

·       
Promote
EU visibility and AAU image and provide technical support to associates,
project participants and stakeholders in line with the Organizational mission
vision and values.

 The ideal candidate must hold relevant
qualifications
