Baylor-Uganda is a
private not for profit child health and development organization providing
family-centered pediatric HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services,
health professional training, and clinical research in Uganda. Baylor College
of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous
not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the
Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a
Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres
of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa
and Eastern Europe.

 

Job Summary:   The
M&E Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that there are functional
systems and structures to promote strengthened monitoring and evaluation
functions at district level for joint planning, coordination, support
supervision and performance monitoring for sustained epidemic control. It will
oversee a team of officers to ensure timely and accurate reporting in District
Health Information System 2 (DHIS2). It will ensure district, sub-district  and 
HF  level  data 
review  and planning meetings  take place to strengthen governance and
systems for sustained epidemic control.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·        
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s (honors) degree in statistics or (demography
or qualitative economics with a formal qualification in monitoring and
evaluation) or related field.

·        
A
Master’s Degree in a related field

·        
At least
5 years of experience in Log Frame Approach in planning, monitoring and
evaluation;

·        
Knowledge
of common Statistical analysis and database management packages Ms Access, Ms
Excel, STATA, SPSS, EPiDATAA.

·        
Application
of qualitative and quantitative M&E methods;

·        
Prior
Experience of working with a reputable international NGO, and direct experience
with government and donor representatives

·        
Team and
communication skills,

·        
Networking
and partnership skills.

·        
Dynamic,
Persuasive & convincing,
