About USAID Project:

The goal of the
five-year, USAID-funded Integrated Child and Youth Development (ICYD) Activity
is for Ugandan children and youth, especially the most vulnerable, to receive
the support and services necessary to lead resilient, healthy, and productive


Job Summary: The
Logistics Manager will be responsible for full logistical support for
activities related to Teaching and Learning Materials and for trainings and
workshops. S/he will be the local person for the management of assets, vehicle
fleet, consumable supplies and infrastructure. The Logistics Manager will
report to the Operations Director and guide the work of the Logistics
Assistants in the five ICYD zones. This is a full-time position based in
Kampala, Uganda


Qualifications, Skills
and Experience:

·       The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree
in a field relevant to the position;

·       A minimum of six years of professional
experience in a similar position;

·       Excellent skills in MS Word and Excel;

·       Experience working with USAID and PEPFAR
funded projects will be an advantage.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication
skills in English

·       Familiarity with internationally-funded

·       Previous experience working in Uganda.
