Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·       
Makes
detailed analysis of local market, importing companies, products , volumes, big
players , countries of supply, companies they’re working with…etc to identify
companies to be targeted

·       
Contact
potential clients, present services, prepare proposals (in collaboration with
sales affiliate , sales manager and global sales manager) and secures the
clients.

·       
Negotiate
with clients for proposals and/or contracts acceptance

·       
Brings
new clients to growth business revenues and works on maintaining existing ones.

·       
Identifies
new business needs or opportunities in the country for other GIS services

·       
Communicates
with country MD’s to provide intelligence, tools and materials on global GIS
services

·       
Coordinates
with local management, Global sales and affiliates to define common strategies
for the different targets

·       
Prepares
sales plans and ensure its execution

·       
Coordinates
and attend (if applicable) business events such as fair, ehibitions,
seminars…etc representing SGS

·       
Identifies,
proposes and deals (when necessary) with consultants, subcontractors, partners
or other business associates.

·       
Proposes,
defines, prepares in coordination with Product Manager public relations
strategy (news media) to best communicate on the results and benefits of our
services.

·       
Translates
business strategy into pragmatic action plans and executes it

·       
In
coordination with product manager and affiliates designs potential solutions to
address clients needs

·       
Responsible
for the coordination and the orderly and timely submission of proposals (ie,
tenders, proposals and other)

·       
Follows
up regularly with clents to ensure full commitment of the Group to deliver
contracted services and to understand client satisfaction level

·       
Operates
to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of
Integrity.

·       
Identifies
and shares best practices with the different GIS teams

·       
Prepares
and submit periodic reports covering the activities done (visits, proposals
submitted, proposals accepted….etc)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal applicant for the SGS Senior Sales Executive job placement must hold a
relevant Master’s degree, A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
(Marketing bias) or Marketing and / or professional qualification in Marketing
(CIMA).

·       
At least
five (5) years of experience three (3) years of which should have been in a
similar company. Medium finance knowledge is an added advantage.

·       
Should
be experienced in producing and achieving sales plans/targets and developing
business strategy.

·       
Self-driven,
result oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and
business profitability.

·       
Understands
the principles of marketing and cost –effectiveness including market targeting,
officer development, sales pitches, networking, etc

·       
Excellent
communication skills both on the phone, in person and written.

·       
Must be
able to present a highly professional image when representing SGS.

·       
Must
demonstrate a thorough approach to work and able to organize him / herself
effectively.

·       
Ability
to manage, coordinate and lead a team towards a common goal.

·       
Ability
to interact with all levels of management, third-party providers, clients,
internal & external customers. Ability to work autonomously and to
plan/coordinate several activities simultaneously

·       
Ability
to adopt a flexible approach to work and react effectively to a rapidly
changing environment

·       
Ability
to write and negotiate detailed contracts and/or commercial agreements

·       
Applies
judgment and acts according to the SGS standards of ethics and integrity.
