About US:
VVOB-Education for
Development is a Belgian non-profit organisation that focuses on improving the
quality of education. VVOB has its head quarter in Brussels Belgium and is
currently implementing education programmes in 9 countries in the global South.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The administration officer will support the smooth functioning of
the VVOB office in Kampala, including: managing the reception and daily
office operations (scanning, filing documents, photocopying, and
management of office supplies). - The administration officer will provide administrative support to
the Kampala team, and support the procurement processes for our offices in
Kampala and Gulu. - He/ She will further provide administrative and logistical support
to the VVOB programme activities and team members. - The ideal candidate will also provide technical IT support for the
office in Kampala and Gulu and help organize Kampala meetings, event and
workshops.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold an undergraduate degree in Business
Administration, Procurement, IT or relevant field - The ideal applicant should have at least three years of relevant
experience in a similar position - Experience with donor funded programmes
- Excellent written and oral English
- Excellent time management; ability to prioritize and multi-task work
- Very good working knowledge of ICT (computer applications, Outlook,
PowerPoint)
