Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Participating in transport route survey studies;
  • Participating in land acquisition for the Right of Way for
    pipelines;
  • Participating in the formulation of policies, regulations, standards
    and guidelines for transport and storage facilities;
  • Participating in implementation of the National Strategic Plan for
    petroleum transportation and storage;
  • Overseeing Civil Engineering aspects during pipeline design and
    construction;
  • Participating in monitoring and inspection of pipeline design,
    construction and operations;
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours
    Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering, or Building, or Construction
    Economics, or Quantity Surveying, or any related field from a recognized
    University.
  • Ethics and integrity; interpersonal, communication and computer
    skills; ability to adapt to multi cultural settings; effective
    organizational and planning skills; time management skills; technical
    skills; report writing skills; negotiation skills; capacity for teamwork;
    innovation and concern for results, quality and standards.
  • Age: Below 21
    years
