We exist to advocate for the rights of Persons with
Disabilities in a uniied voice for improved livelihoods.
Job Summary:  The Capacity Strengthening Officer Capacity
will provide support across the range of DPO capacity strengthening activities
undertaken through the programme. A key focus will be ensuring that NUDIPU and
the DPOs benefit optimally from the capacity strengthening initiative through
identification (capacity assessments, due-diligence evaluations) and
development and delivery of appropriate of solutions for their capacity needs..
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
                    
Conduct organizational capacity and
due-diligence assessments with NUDIPU and the DPO.
                    
Support capacity building of NUDIPU members
                    
Work closely with selected implementing partners
and similar programmes funded by the donor to ensure synergy.
                    
Ensure adequate capacity is built in various
areas as determined through the organizational capacity and due-diligence
assessments.



Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
                    
The ideal candidate must hold a Masters or a
related advanced degree in international development, organizational
development, business or public management or a related area and with Hons
degree in relevant humanities.
                    
Five years of experience in implementing
technical and organizational capacity building programs.
                    
Ability to work collaboratively and constructively
with community-based organizations that are at the front line of impact.
